Although the weather was cooler than usual, Don and Norma had a most enjoyable holiday with plenty of relaxation: Son David and Leah were down --for a few days and daughter Virginia visited with her parents twice during their sojourn in the sunny South. Birthday Celebration A "gala" birthday party with all the trimmings was hosted by Mrs. Neta Fish and members of the family in honour of Grahame's 70th birthday on Saturday even- 4, at their spacious home at Nestleton. Those present for this special occasion were: Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Fish and Lisa of Oshawa, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Corby and Paul and Mr. and Ron Jacobs and Rhonda of Blackstock, -Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Holland, Port Hope, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Smith and Penny, Hampton, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Leishman, Michael, Jamie and William a new grandson, born a month and a half ago, from Lindsay. A wonderful celebration and warmest birthday wishes to Grahame from this area. Caesarea Euchre Results With a splendid turnout Wednesday evening, "April 1st, the prize winners were: 1. Malcolm welcomed thirteen members opening with the '"Ode'" and "Mary Stewart Collect" and . read a poem 'Thank God for . Little Things"'.- Sec'y-Treas. Mrs. M..Firlit read minutes, correspond- ance, also minutes from an Executive meeting held at the President's home March 23rd, re-plans for the Nestleton W.I. 75th Anniversary. A splendid financial report was given by the sec'y -Treasurer as well. The Nestleton W.I. provided cookies and one member to assist for the Family Life Series held Monday evening, April 13, 8 p.m. in Town Hall 1873, Port Perry. Mrs. J. Wygerde presented a brief summary of the District Director's meeting re- District Annual. Newtonville W.I. will be the hostess Branch, Thursday, May 14. The 4H Homemaking Club Achievement: programme will be Friday, April 28, 7.30 p.m. atthe Blackstock Rec. Centre. Mrs. R. Davison and Mrs. M. Firlit attended the Quilt- ing Course held in St. Paul's Church, Bowmanville, March 18 and 19. An organizational meeting was held Tuesday, April 7th, 1 p.m. at the Nestleton community Centre for those interested in taking the course, For further inform- ation contact Mrs. R.
