Bill Wozney, who owns and operates Scugog Machine Shop on the Oshawa Road about four miles south of Port Perry, has been claiming since 1975 that Bell has over-charged him on the monthly private line rural mileage rate. After numerous letters to Bell Canada, members of Parliament and even the Canadian Radio and Tele- communications Com- mission, Mr. Wozney"s efforts were partially rewarded last month when Bell admitted it had indeed been over-charging him on the mileage rate and sent him a cheque for $525 (including interest). Mr. Wozney told the Star last week that he doesn't consider this a "victory" for him over the Bell. "I'haven't gained anything from-all this, I only got back what was mine in the first place," he stated. And he says he is not' finished with Bell yet. He figures the utility still owes him another $500, and he plans to keep pressing the issue until he gets this amount.
