The music was supplied by B and H Sound of Oshawa, and enjoy- ed by both young and old. Everyone had a delightful time dancing and also re- newing old acquaintances. A delicious buffet dinner ~~ #was served at 2 p.m. Short speeches were made by both Alan and Marg. thanking everyone for coming and making this a memorable occasion; also to their families for putting so much time and effort in arranging this never to be forgotten party. Warmest Congratula- tions! to Alan and Marge from Area friends. Nestleton Presbyterian Church Quite a good attendance on Sunday morning May 3, 10 a.m. for the worship service. Rev. Fred Swann read Scrip- ture John 20: 18-28. For the sermon theme he continued with the Resurrection --some believe and some doubt-- the Resurrected Church was to preach the Gcespel to all the world. In the choir a trio com- posed of Mrs. H. Visser, Mr. Stan. McNeeley and Rev. Fred Swann sang '"'And can it be that I should gain," a very appropiate number and much enjoyed by the con- gregation. Mrs. S. Scott was organist for the service. A welcome to one and all for next Sunday at 10 a.m. Nestleton United Church An excellent attendance at the service on Sunday, May 3rd, 11.15 a.m. with Rev. Victor Parsons speaking on "Our Value' based on Holy Scriptures Acts 3:1-16 and John 5:1-13. The choir sang a pleasing selection "The Beautiful Garden of Prayer" with Mrs. L. Malcolm accompanying. A bale of good used -cloth- ing will be packed by the U.C.W. and articles may be left in the Sunday School room.
