From all Guild hold by Jo Dowson On Saturday June 6th the annual Craft Show and Sale was held in the Masonic Hall. Visitors to the show saw a wide variety of beautiful hand made articles and were able to watch demonstra- tions of work in progress. There was a spinner, a folk artist, rug braiding, quilting, several members hooking rugs, another crocheting gossamer scarves in a rain- ,. bow of colours; there was a christmas tree decorated entirely with hand made or hand decorated ornaments and on the wall a display of Christmas stockings. ~ On display also were the results of our last two work- shops, a table full of crewel embroidery and here and there around the hall, lawn chairs covered in Punjabe Many visitors enjoyed the needlepoint+ pictures and purses and other items knit- ted and crocheted. The Guild wishes to thank all-those who participated in the show and a big thank you also to our visitors for their interest and support; it was most gratifying and left us all with the f that once again our show and sale was a huge success. We wish you all a happy and relaxing summer and we will meet again on Wednes- day, September 9th.
