Mr. and Mrs. John MacDonald, Florida, have . been guests with Don and Norma Frew, of Nestleton and on Wednesday approx- imately 24 residents from Woodrock, Lakeland, Florida had a marvellous get-to-gether at Picton, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Park. Ontario friends and Florida residents have a re-union once a year. What a great idea to keep in touch! Nestleton United Church On Sunday, - August 8th, 11:15 a.m. service with many visitors present. Rev. Victor Parson's topic 'Our Discipleship". Miss Janet Parsons was organist - and Miss Marlene Parsons as soloist - sang "Consider the Lilies." Janet and Marlene favoured with a harmonious duet '"O Lord of Life." The music was much enjoyed! Nestleton Presbyterian Church At the regular service on Sunday at 10 a.m. Rev. Fred Swann spoke on "Wonders of the World - God's Creation and the words of Jesus Christ." Scripture readings - Isaiah 9 - Colossians 2 and Romans II. Mrs. Shirley Scott - organist. Next Sun- day at 10 a.m. Nestleton friends will be pleased to know that Paul Mappin is improving slowly and steadily in Toronto Hospital, and is outside in the wheelchair a good deal. Two beautiful wooden crosses were dedi- "cated in memory of Mr. and Mrs. William Steele who had served well in Nestleton Church- also two 'Hymn books in memory of Mr. Clarke Williams - who was a member of Nestleton choir for many years. Beautiful vases of Gladiolus graced the Sanctuary placed in memory of the Williams family. Decoration Service Next Sunday, August 23, at 2:30 p.m. (note change of time) . the special annual Decoration Service will be held in memory of our loved ones, with Rev. V.
