They visited with the Brian Mount- joy family at Fruitland, British Columbia and Larry Hoskin at King's Domain, Lake Louise, Alberta. They enjoyed the excellent crop outlook especially in southern Saskatchewan from where Jean moved with her family in 1933 to Ontario after experiencing several years of disastrous drought, . hailstorms and grasshopper plague. For many who are fired of studies, there will be a struggle for a place in experience in the labour force. This also becomes a period of new beginnings in church work involving organized groups and youth groups.
