Friday night a select team Seagrave and Mariposa tournament with Bob Grierson coaching. The fellows lost their first game, won the next three games, then lost Monday morning to a team from London. The games were all very exciting and every one of the fellows played fantastic baseball and each player deserves a * pat on the back, also to Bob "you did a terrific job. Special thanks to all the loyal supporters who came out in the rain to watch all the games. The Puckrins held a get together on Saturday night. Then Sunday night some of the players and supporters came to the Adams. Saturday night the Cali- fornia Cuties played baseball against the Rejects in Little Britain. The game, though very wet was very enter- taining. Who was that lady in the Mariposa Oldtimers jacket? I heard her friend Utica by Vera Brown Church service and Sunday School is at Utica Church starting at 11:00 a.m. . this Sunday. The Epsom Utica Sunday School is having a corn roast on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at Utica Church. A warm welcome is extended to our new minister Reverend Rodgers and his family. The induction service for Reverend Rodgers will be held in Greenbank on September 20th at 8 pm.
