0-- PORT PERRY STAR - Wed., November 25, 1981 Auxiliary honours wistanding members by Luella Graham The Hospital Auxiliary adies held their annual neeting at "the hospital on donday, November 16, 1981. The President brought the neeting to attention, and pened it with the Auxiliary rayer being repeated in nison, and then welcomed ll. We had 28 members and visitors present. The secretary then read he minutes of the last meeting, and the treasurer gave a good annual report. Corr Secretary read 3 thank you notes, and had sent out 26 letters re- the pre- Christmas bake sale. A get well card was signed by all and sent to Flossie Aldred who is still in Oshawa Hospital. Camille reported on the Tuck Shop, and gift cart. Hazel Coates wool convener gave her report for the year. She has been a very busy person. She also reported 6 boys and 5 girls arrived at hospital since our last meeting. At this time for outstand- ing services rendered the Auxiliary, Bonnie Gerrow was given a Life Member- ship pin, and Gertie Wana- maker an outstanding service pin. We were privileged to have Mrs. Gladys Morris regional Chairman of region no seven, who gave a most interesting run down of the work of the 16 hospitals in our region. The nominating commit- tee then took over, and the slate of officers put in for the next term. Our next meeting is on Monday December 14th, and ladies do not for get our pre-Christmas bake sale being held at the hospital on Friday, December 11 at 1:30 p.m. Anyone who has no way of getting baking in, could call 985-2393, or 985-2494. We are also having a toy table, along with the bake sale. Ladies our Tuck Shop has many lovely articles for sale, suitable for Christmas gifts. The meeting then adjourn- ed and lunch was served.
