Cornish school by James Cawker On Monday, November 16th the camera crews from the television program, "What's New" visited R.H. Cornish Public School. The program 'What's New' journeyed to the school to interview a pre- selected group of seventeen grade eight students. The students were interviewed by Sara Wolch, the host of "What's New'. During the course of the interview the 'students were asked for their views on the Constitution and - or Consitu- tion related matters. Some of the questions asked 'were, "Why do you think the Constitution should be brought to Canada?" and "Why do you think Premiere Levesque didn't agree with the Constitution?" Also interviewed were Mr. Reg Philips, grade 8 mathematics teacher, Mr. John Beirness, grade 8 core teacher, and Mr. Murray Prentice, principle who also spoke their piece on Consti- tutional matters. All in all the interviewing process went smoothly, the lights, cameras, and micro- phones, didn't seem to affect either teachers or students once they got on stage and were interviewed. Just after the interviews, there was one last heart- stopping moment when the cameramen reported that there could be a fault in the film. However, sighs of relief burst out when it was dis- covered that there was nothing wrong.
