And the crowd was not disappointed as this year's parade was the biggest ever with more than 40 floats of all shapes and sizes and 15 musical groups playing tunes of the Festive season. Numerous clowns were on hand with 'goodies for the youngsters and the line-up at the Latcham Centre after the Godley, Diane Lackie and Valerie MacDonald had a tough time selecting the best floats and the entry by the Uxbridge Black Hawks was awarded first' prize.The United Church CGIT Santa's Workshop entry earned second place, and the "night before Christmas"theme by the Beta Sigma Phi group placed third.
