TST Finn XT LIN RY SAR A large crowd lined the sides of Queen Street Sat- urday afternoon' braving a raw wind for 'the annual hamber of Commerce Santa ° Claus Parade. And the crowd was not disappointed as this year's parade was the biggest ever with more than 40 floats of all shapes and sizes and 15 musical groups playing tunes of the Festive season. Numerous clowns were on hand with 'goodies for the youngsters and the line-up at the Latcham Centre after the Godley, Diane Lackie and Valerie MacDonald had a tough time selecting the best floats and the entry by the Uxbridge Black Hawks was awarded first' prize.The United Church CGIT Santa's Workshop entry earned second place, and the "night before Christmas"theme by the Beta Sigma Phi group placed third. There were two special awards to the Orange Lodge's Frosty the Snowman and to the youngster in the little red car who brought smiles to the faces of young and old alike as he made his way along Queen Street. parade to see Santa seemed to go on and on and on, Parade judges Frank rT et en.
