Sports Pr 16-- PORT PERRY STAR -- Wed., December 30, 1981 Mojacks lodge protest The Port Perry MoJacks «ave lodged an official rotest of a game played december 22 in Stouffville vhich the MoJacks lost to he Clippers by an 8 - 5 score. The protest was filed with the Ontario Hockey Association within 48 hours of the game with the club charging that a Clipper defenseman who played in the game was not properly registered with the OHA. MoJack manager Murray Parliament said he believes this is the first time in the ten year history of the club that Port Perry has lodged an official protest of a game. MoJacks currently are in eight place in the ten team league, but only a few points out of fourth spot. With the league heading into the final month of regular play Mr. Parliament said the two points are important for the team. "We'd like to win all our points on the ice, of course, but the team and manage- ment feel this protest is justified," he said. 'Filing the protest means the team has to put up a $100 bond which will be forfeited if the OHA turns the protest down. It is not known when a decision will be made in this matter, or if the Stouffville Omemee Hockey Tournament Novice win Consolation by Linda Parry On December 26 the J.T.
