Scoring for Swamp were Brad Fertile, Dan Muldoon, Pat Muldoon and Jamie Mabley. Assist went to Jamie Mabley, Pat Muldoon, Adam Cummings and Lee Philips had 2 assists. Scoring for Scugog was Craig Laskey assisted by Chris Carr. U.AW.-2 Forder Insurance - 0 In a close game U.A.W. defeated Forder 2 to 0. Scoring for U.A.W. were Peter Brock and Marvin Hughes, both goals were unassisted. Brent McMillan had the shutout for U.A.W. Just' 15 seconds into the third period, Steven Desautels scored from Chad Venning and Jason McBride. A few minutes later, Mike Olaisen beat Kinsmen netminder Ross Stainton, assisted by Richard LaRocque and David Volman, 54 seconds later, Kinsmen evened the score at 2 in a fine effort by Sean McEnaney, with the assist going to Brian Madill. Sean came back two minutes later to put his team ahead by one, one an unassisted effort. Then, with 2:13 re- maining, Steven Desautels scored his second on the day unassisted, to even the match at three. Carl Payne played a solid game for Sportsland in net. Sean McEnaney scored the 4th marker, as well as picking up 2 assists on Jeff's markers. Jeff Andrews also received an assist in the first. goal of the match. Sportsland - 7 Reliable Plumbing - 0 The second game of the afternoon proved to be a one-sided affair as Sports- land blanked Reliable Plumbing 7 - 0. The Plumbers were first on the score sheet in a goal by Scott Foster, assisted by Simon Traynor and Cliff LaForte. The Realtors: came' right back in an unassisted effort by Gavin Cochrane. Kinsmen -3 "Sportsland - 2 An ever improving Kins- men team handed Sports- land their second loss of the season, downing them 3 - 2 in an end to end match. Kins- men scored three in a row, with John Collins netting two and Noel Lovering a single. Assists went to Ross Stainton, Chad Garvoc, Donny Hughes and John Collins. Sportsland was not to be blapkéd, however, with Steven Desautels scoring, unassisted, followed by Carl Payne, assisted by Jason McBride. Both teams played extremely well, with tight checking apparent both ways. The only scoring play occured with 2:04 remaining in the first period. Philip Edgar picked up a pass from Jason McBride and scored the only marker of the match.
