J20 Prince Albert news by Ilean Pugh Deepest sympathy goes out to the Carnégie and How- sam' families in the sudden passing of Louise Carnegie. Eleven tables of euchre players turned out on Thurs- day evening. The winners: Ladies- Marion Bell, M. Poots, Carolyn Hicks. For the men the prizes went to Mildred Thompson, Myrtle Alsop playing as men and Alvin Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. Bert W ood and son Mark have returned home after a holiday in Florida. After a balmy 80 degrees F there, it was pretty cold to come fome to. The Bible class which was to be held at the home of Catherine Humphrey last week had to be cancelled because of road conditions. Don't forget the Burns Pot Luck Supper and annual meeting on Feb. 5th at 6:30. Rev. McEntyre's message last sunday .was "Finding Christ' an. endless adven- ture. Mr. Arnold Ashton sang a beautiful solo accom- panying himself as well as playing the hymns for the service. A fire which turned out to be not too serious caused some excitement in the village on Saturday night as three fire trucks were on hand to help.
