Belles travelled to Oshawa to play the Oshawa B. club. Port Perry really came out flying and were no contest for Oshawa as they beat them 10 - 0. Jan. 16, 1982 the 10-0 Oshawa A club came to Port to play the I.G.A. Belles. This was a different game altogether. It was an end to end contest from the first whistle with Oshawa scoring first, but we managed a tie of 5-5out of it. Cyclists to race on Lake Scugog ice An ice race sanctioned by the Ontario Motorcycle Asso- ciation will be held this Sun- day, January 31 on Lake Scugog. Action will get underway at 12 noon with a minimum of 20 races featuring some of the top motorcycle ice racers in Canada. There will be classes for juniors, schoolboys, seniors and experts; three wheelers and the exciting sidecars. They came up on the losing end at the final buzzer 6 - 3. The Juniors played a hard game but could not pull out a victory. Thanks go to Sharon Ash- more for coming and playing for us. We have only 3 games in the season girls, so lets work together as a team and have a great finish to the season. PPMH House League Scores (From last week) ATOM HOUSELEAGUE by Doug Moore Lewis - 2 Swamp-0 - In a close game Lewis managed to come out on top by defeating Swamp 2 to 0. Scoring for Lewis were Ryan Larocqua and Neil Mark. Assists went to Derek Lewis, Ryan Larocqua and Mike Butt. Graham Sullivan recorded the shutout for Lewis. U.AW.-5 Scugog-1 In a rather one sided effort U.A.W. defeated Sucgog 5 to 1. Scoring for U.A.W. were Ron Davis, Peter Brock with a hat trick and Paul Turner. Peter Brock and Paul Turner each had an assist. Scoring for Scugog was Craig Lasky assisted by Doug Adams. Forder-5 Tripp-2 Forder defeated Tripp Realty by a score of 5 to 2. Scoring for Forder were Kevin Gilson with 3, John Theatre and Shawn Philips. Ron Halligan, Chris McConnell, John Theatre, Kevin Mantel and Phil Teno each had assists.
