Kinsmen now have a 1-0 lead in the best of 3 series. Tweens skate to draw with Lindsay by Jeannie Muir On Sat. Mar. 6th, the Chris Allen Aluminum Tweens hosted Lindsay tweens. This was an exhibition game in preparation for the Regional 'C' tournament to be held on April 3rd and 4th in Wark- worth. The Chris Allen and Lindsay tweens were very well matched and played a good clean game. The final score was 5-5, the play swung from end to end with each team scoring in turn it seemed. Goals for the Chris Allen tweens were scored by Tina Soomre, Donna Edwards, Heidi Meisner and two for Heather-Muir. Assists came from Coleen Scala (2), Karyn Raines, Bobbie Jo Heaps and Natalie Franssen. Lori Ann Newell was 'out- standing in goal. All girls played well and will do well in Regionals if they continue to play as well. Petites rally to tie Oshawa by Paul Pelow Bruton's I.D.A. Petites travelled to Oshawa Sun Mar. 7 to play the Oshawa "B" team. The girls con- tinued their fine play as they came from behind to tie Oshawa 4 to 4. Port Perry started the game with Val White scoring on the first shift but Oshawa came back to tie the game before the end of the first period.
