While in that Southern country they visited many huge farms, game reserves and modern cities. Plans are underway for the Blackstock District of the Girl Guides to sponsor a travelogue by Joan and Harvey telling of their interesting trip. On Sunday afternoon, Howard Bailey was seen off at Malton Airport by his parents, Neil and Elaine Bailey, sister Tara and friend Craig Paisley as he left for his three month: exchange in Germany. He called home on Monday morning that he had arrived safely at the home of his exchange buddy, Franz- Josef Ruther at Ruthen, Germany.
