The winning slide entered by Mr. Rekker was of a virginia rail and was selected from 53 slides in the competition. In the Print class, another Port Perry photographer, Wendy Bateman, won an honourable mention for her DOOD DDDDODLIDLLLLIDDIDDDIDDLLDIDIDLILDDDEDEDSIEE photo of a Jack in the Pulpit. There were 40 prints entered in that class. The winners were ann- ounced May 26 at Sir Sand- ford Fleming College in Lindsay. Janet Sheridan of Fenelon Falls won first prize in the print class and honourable in the slide class.
