On Monday night, the Gamblers played their first game under the new flood- lights and had to settle for a 2-2 tie with the Udora Sham- rocks. Roland Ooskie pitched a strong game for the Sham- rocks and had the Green- bank team shut out until the last inning. Then Bill Thomson was safe on an infield error and Greg Rodd blasted a long triple off the left field fence to score Thomson and then scored himself when the return throw bounced off his shoulder as he slid into third base. Neil Rodd and Brian Lee had two hits each for Greenbank, with Trevor Till, Ken Irvine, and John Foster adding 1 hit each to the Greenbank attack.
