On May 27th, Helen Jewell, Mary William- son and 'Mildred Hope went to Canningston to speak to the U.C.W. and show a film supplied by Durham Mental Health. On June 1st, a Rummage Bake and Craft sale was held at the community centre. Free coffee was served to the customers and a total of $134.00 was taken in at the different tables. On June 8, at the regular meeting, the draw was made for the quilt that had been made by some of . the ladies. The lucky winner was Mrs. Lawrence Malcolm of Nestleton, $203.00 was realized from the project. The "Friendly Visitors" would like to thank everyone for supporting their projects.
