Guild starts fall season The first meeting of the Fall season of the Louise Patterson Guild took the usual form of an all day workshop on Wed. Sept. 8th in St. John's Church Hall, After the pot-luck luncheon at noon and the short busi- ness period we were treated to a slide presentation en- titled "Contemporary Quilters in and around Toronto." The slides were from the Ontario Crafts Council Resource Centre. The quilts ranged in design from the traditional to modern abstract including many lovely geometric patterns. The colours, many especially dyed to achieve the desired results, were quite spectacular and added much to the beauty of the quilts.
