As well as Christmas songs, plays and dances, "'E.T."' delighted the audience by coming back to earth for a surprise Christ- mas visit. Attendance, as always was excellent. Thanks to parents and friends for their support. On Christmas Eve the children of the parish cele- brated the birth of Jesus with their arnual Christmas Pageant at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The church was filled beyond capacity as the parishioners gathered together to cele- brate the joyous occasion. The first term of the school year 1982-83 has now come to a close. Hopefully, all will enjoy a happy and holy holiday and will return in the New Year refreshed and ready to start a new term. Spokesmen for both the Port Perry and Caesarea divisions of the Scugog Fire department said they didn't have a single call over the weekend. The Whitby OPP reports no serious accidents on the provincial highways through Scugog Township Christmas weekend. A spokesman for Durham Region Police said there were no accidents in Scugog over the Christmas period, and no serious criminal activity. On Monday morning, Dec- ember 27, police report two motor vehicle accidents on I Regional Road 2, one south | of Port Perry at the "pump j house turns" and the other ----north of the community at - Honey's Corners.
