The 1983 Executive con- sists of President - Nancy Bryans; Vice-President - Aileen VanCamp; Secretary- Catherine Corden; Treas- urer- Barb Byers. The New Year's Eve dance was a fine success and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Plans were made to cater to the Fair Board Meeting on Jan. 27 and to the Lions' Dinner in February. The O.N.O.will donate money to the Public School for the purchase of new play- ground equipment. Anyone with O.N.O. tea towels please return promptly to the Rec. Centre . The ONO Family Skating Party will be held on Feb. 13. We are having a Pot Luck Supper at 4:30 at the Rec. Centre and anyone is welcome to attend. Skating will be at the rink from 2-4. As of March 1, 1983, all ONO catering will be $7.00 per plate. The next meeting will be held at Aileen VanCamps on Feb. 10, 1983. Two local young people, Susan Wade and Jerry Stachow attended a Youth Camp recently at the United Church Camp Quin-Mo-Lac north of Belleville. Congratulations to Miss Iva Arenburg and Mr. Fred Walker who will be married in Myrtle United Church on Sat. A pleasant evening was spent in cards and visiting. The morning unit of the U.C.W. held its January meeting at the home of Edith McLaughlin with 12 members and 2 visitors present. After a delicious lunch Unit Leader Eleanor Jan. 30 at 10:30 a.m. The local Myrtle U.C.W. members will conduct the service and they invite all members, friends and new - comers to this area to join them at Myrtle United Church for this special service. Sorry to hear that Mrs. Elsie Timms is in J. O. Ruddy Hospital in Whitby. Her many friends at Myrtle wish her a speedy recovery. Mrs. Cook fractured her pelvis in a fall before Christmas and spent several weeks in Whitby Hospital.
