The show, has Hobo arriving in a small town at the same time as a travelling artist who turns out to be a dead-ringer for the town's cor- rupt Mayor, will be shown this Thursday night at 7:30 on CTV. Port Perry's lakefront and Queen Street will be seen in many of the scenes from the show entitled 'Double Vision." Art skills to be developed The YMCA's Art Experience program will now be held Thurs- day evenings from 7 - 9 p.m. at the "Y"' Centre. Emphasis in this class will be placed on development of skills and sensitivity to colour and composition as well as enjoyment of creation and explor- ation. Musical Fitness is a popular program being offered for Ladies on Wednesday mornings at the Port Perry Anglican Church. This is a fun way of keeping fit with babysitting provided for preschoolers. The ""Y' is introd- ucing two new pro- grams starting Wed- nesday, February 9 and Friday, February 11, 1983. Tiny Tumblers is a program aimed at co- ordination and balance through the use of hoops, balls and climb- ing apparatus for the walking to 2 years of age group. This is a fun and exciting program in which the parents par- ticipate with their child. Another new pre- schooler program at the "YMCA" is called "My Time". This is a class which is 1 hour in length involving the use of crafts and songs. Aimed at the 2-3 year old age group, this is an excellent program for those considering play school for their pre- schoolers in the fall. This program begins Friday, February 11, 1983 at the "Y" Centre. Tutoring classes for school age children experiencing difficulty in math and reading are available through the yn starting the week E: of February 7th. Mr. Aldred, who did not have a delegate vote on the leadership question said however, that he believes Joe Clark did the right thing in asking that a leader- ship convention be held. If Mr. Clark steps down as leader of the party in the very near future, Mr. Aldred suggested that long time Conservative MP George Hees might be considered as interim leader until a con- vention is held. held. Mr. Aldred said he was not surprised with the fact that LIr. Clark received just two-thirds support from the party. In fact, he had predicted Mr. Clark's margin of support might be in the 62 per cent range.
