The Larocque's moved to their present home in 1944 from Oshawa. Many relatives and friends of this popular ssuplea) attended the Open House held iftheir honour. Working together for mental health throughout Canada May 2 to May 8, 1983 is Mental Health Week in Canada. This year, the Canadian Mental Health Association-Durham Branch (a United Way Agency), Medication Awareness, Whitby Psyhiatric Hospital, Oshawa General Hospital and the Dur- ham Pharmacist Assoc- iation, will be working together at a booth at the Oshawa Shopping Centre, the theme being "Working Together for Your Mental Health". Don and Stella Asling were visiting ~ Dr. Gerrald and Mrs. Asling and girls in Hanover for the weekend. Jan Asling - and Mark of Whitby accompanied them. Trinity Couples Club have invited the Epsom- Utica Club to a Square dancing party at Trinity Hall, Saturday, May 14th at 8 p.m. We hope that our group will respond in their usual congenial manner. Miss Ruth Taylor has been with her parents, Earl and Elizabeth Taylor for a weeks holiday. While home she was able to attend Open - House at Ontario College of Art with her sister, Margaret and friend. Ruth has now gone to North Bay our annual sale of per- ennials and garden plants. The Open House at Epsom School was well attended. The teachers had the halls and rooms beautifully decorated with the art work of the pupils. The Film "A Day at Epsom School" was interesting and well presented. Thanks to teachers and pupils from the community, your efforts were cer- tainly enjoyed and appreciated. Earl and Marie Wilson and Scott had Sunday dinner with Earl's mother, Mrs. J.P. Wilson of Uxbridge. Ken and Beth Cather- wood took Howard and Ruth Ashton out for Sun- day dinner, an early "Mothers Day' cele- bration. Rev. Floyd and Mrs. Wilson and family, Rachel, Andrew and Sarah of Oshawa visited his parents, Elmer and Ruth Wilson last Mon- day.
