LER AOR The Scugog Youth Soccer Club has a new executive, already hard at work on plans for the next soccer season, which opens in about six months. Cran- dell's only goal was scored by Ken Little drub Oshawa 8-2 Menzies scored what proved to be the winning goal with the help of his team-mates Steve Durham and Chris Skura. Up until the last two minutes of the game, the Goreski boys had only drawn two penalties. In the last minute and 19 seconds of the game, the referees saw fit to put two of our players in the penalty box. Dan Vernon, Chris Skura and Dave Burnett, and of course the steady goaltending of Steve Whalen, were able to keep Pickering off the score board. In the second, Larocque Electric went ahead 3-1 when Glen McCoy scored from Doug Bron- son and Bill VanCamp. B.J.'s took advantage of Larocque's penalties as they tied the game up at 3 when Bill Hurst scored from Bob Byers and Ron Zaparanuik scored ji no-contact loop the tieing goal from Rick Martin. Dave Bourgeois scored for B.J.'s with a man advantage assisted by Al Gray and Jim Dun- can. Larocque Electric tied the game at 4 all when Glen McCoy scored from Doug Bron- son and Ron Davis. Goalies for this game were Doug McSween for B.J.'s and Bob Strickert for Rick Larocque Electric. In game 4 Compton Cable T.V. defeated Gregory's Mens Wear by a score of 2-1. Dave Mills scored 2 goals for Compton with assists going to Ron Compton, Grant Menzies and Colin Asselstine. Gregory's goal was scored by Dale Bronson from Rick Lefort.
