On March 24 the W.1. will hold their annual social evening at 'the Seniors Rooms in Uxbridge. Evans visited last Fri- day with Mr. and Mrs. Don Acton of Trent River. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Evans have returned from a visit to the suniy south while there they visited local friends who are spending the winter in Florida. There will be a Pan- cake supper at Epsom Church March 6th and don't forget the Pot luck supper this Friday even- ing Feb. 24 at 7 p.m. There was a dedica- tion service for candle sticks given by the Harper family in memory of wife and mother, Marion at Sun- day Morning Church service. Speedy recovery to Murray Geer who is a "patient in Uxbridge Hospital. Miss Esther Hough- land of Hamilton and Miss Jeanette Hough- land of Waterloo Uni- versity were with their Mr, and Mrs. Bruce Houghland for the weekend. The Baster family visited Paul's family at Smithville on Sunday. Epsom UCW visited Port Perry Villa last Tuesday and we were 80 pleased to greet old friends and make new friends. We had a Valen- tine party and everyone left with a small momento of a happy afternoon. Next UCW meeting will be March 6th. Group2 hostesses. We are pleased to hear that Melody Aldred is much improved. She and husband Bernie of Greenbank had supper on Sunday with her parents, - Ron Lorraine Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Norma Tapscott visited their parents in Markham and entertained Betty's mother and fathér, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Thomas at lunch to celebrate Mr. Thomas's birthday. Walter and Elva Kerry visited her sister, and Mrs. Wilda Myers at Bobcaygeon on the weekend. guests on Sun- day with the Kerrys on' Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kerry of Port Perry and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Myers and Dana of Oshawa, Sunday dinner guests at Keith Ashtons were Heather Bell and Julie's friend, Clay Dempsey. Helen Hockley and Heather Bell provided a musical interlude at Sunday Church Service with a flute and piano duet. They are contest- ants at the Kiwanis Music Festival this week. Good luck girls.
