As part of the celebrations, the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources is offering to the public specially grown, land- scape-quality bicen- tennial white pine trees. These are available to schools, youth groups, conservation authori- ties, and service clubs that are sponsoring celebrations with their member of the Provin- cial Parliament or a Ministry of Natural Resources official. Seedling trees are also being made avail- able to plant larger areas as part of outdoor education projects. Trees are available at no charge on a "first- come, first-served" basis. Organizers of bi- centennial events are urged to place orders now with the nearest office of the Ministry of Natural Resources. Ministry phone numbers are listed in the blue pages of the telephone directory. Organizers are also reminded that National Forest Week will be celebrated May 6-12, 1984. This year's theme is "Tomorrow's Forest.. Today's Chalenge".
