" tn FAR Nice shot, Jim Jim Grosvenor, membership chairman at Pine Ridge Golf Club recorded the first hole-in-one of the season at Pine Ridge when he sank his tee shot on the tough 169 yard 15th hole. Jim hit a seven iron and watched in amazement as the ball rolled into the cup. His playing partners were Clair Cornish, Jim Hardiman and Desmond Krause. Jim says he had a nice round going, but the hole in one - shook him up so much he wound up with 7s. He also wound up with a bar bill for $100, but says it was worth it. Havugens hit bad slump Prince Albert fastball with 9 games remaining club would like to forget the last three ball games they played giv- ing up 27 runs and only @coring 1 run them- selves. The club is definitely in a mid season slump but every team goes through that over the season. All they have ~* got to do is regroup and concentrate on the game for its entirety. Coach Gene Hurst does not seem worried yet they must go back to basic ball or everyone seems to be struggling at the plate. Hurst is just a little upset at a few of the guys not giving a 100 per cent. In order to have a competive team, every- one has got to give 100 per cent if not more. Haugens BBQs next home game is Tuesday, July 10 against the Zephyr A's. Game time is8:30 PM.
