Also on the night of July 8, Police say a vehicle was reported stolen from a residence on Church Street in Blackstock. The vehicle was later recovered un- damaged near Janet- ville. There was about $250 damage when a beer bottle as thrown through \the front window of a car parked on the lot at Ridgeview Auto Sales, on the Oshawa Road, south of Port Perry. With the plans for the new greens and club-- house now moving into high gear, Mr. Blair said the organization is actively looking for new members. The Lawn Bowling Club has been working actively for a new location the past few years as the present location is not large enough and is prone to water collection because of the low elevations.
