Scugog residents unite for day of fun Scugog Island News by Mrs. Earl Reader The Sr. Choir of the Island United will meet on Thurs. of this week at 7:30 p.m. They are still hoping for new mem- bers. On Sun. it was noted that the excess earth around the Island United had been removed and several loads of gravel had been levelled for parking areas. More is really needed, but funds for this purpose are almost exhausted. We owe much appreciation for the voluntary help by the Davis brothers, Nick Henshaw and 3 young students who worked very hard. The lunch of barbecued hamburgers by another assistant was much appreciated.
