Bruce and Jean Houghland were over- night guests with their cousins, Bill and Myra Oldfield at Venemount last weekend. Ron Watson and Russell of Scarborough visited on Monday with Jennie and Archie Watson. Gerald and Helen Jef- fery of London called on Jean and Gordon Jeffery on Saturday. Congratulations to Steve and Alice Lee on the safe arrival of a wee son, a little playmate for Dan. Mrs. Hansen and Carl . were at Scarborough with Judy, Karen and CArol for the weekend. Mrs. Hansen and daughters attended a Blue Jay game on Satur- day afternoon and visited Ontario Place. U.C.W. will be held Sept. 11th at the home of Elva Kerry, 8 p.m. Group IV in charge. The Demolition Derby Sunday night was a smashing success and that I enjoyed it very much. Despite poor weather on Sunday, a fair gathering was there, even when the weatherman turns against you, you do a good job. See you next year.
