One semi-final series has the Greenbank Gamblers meeting Prince Albert Haugens in a best two out of three series with Claremont Legion opposing Good- wood Auto Wreckers in 'the other semi-finals. Greenbank eliminat- ed Udora Shamrocks in two straight games by shutting them out last Tuesday night in Green- bank Park by a 6-0 score. Ken Goreski was extremely sharp in this game as he allowed Udora only a single hit and this came in the _ fourth inning when lead off batter Eldon Wagg beat out a bunt. Port downs Whitby On Thursday, Sept- ember 6th, the Port Perry Printing Storm- ers travelled to Whitby to play the quarter-final cup game against the Whitby 'A' Team. They didn't let us down as they came home with a 3-0 victory. Two goals scored by Terri O'Neil and 1 by Patti Gallant. All the girls put in 100 per cent effort and should be congratulated for their win. The Stormers finished off the season in second place with 10 wins, 3 ties and 2 losses, only 3 points behind the lead- ing team, Oshawa.
