On Wednesday even- ing the UCW met in the church basement. Pres- ident opened the meet- ing with a poem. The treasurer reported a good bank balance after the summer projects. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Clarke, Ed and Cathy Daigle, Grant and Eva Hunter attend- ed the wedding of their niece, Melodie Heayn in Oshawa. : Saturday evening the Beard of Stewards held 'their talent auction in the community centre.
