Only the house knows for sure and it's not telling. For Angela and Dan McPhee, who have own- ed the house for a little more than a year and have been renovating ever since they moved in, the bottles are an interesting mystery. Sixteen of them, in various colours and shapes, were discovered in the walls of the UXBRIDGE MEMORIAL pp WB RIDGES & + mid 19a 1919 ' ST ai -® McPhee's laundry room when Dan began ripping things apart a few months ago. Originally an unheat- ed mud room, built sometime after the rest of the house (which is dated 1850), the McPhee family is restoring it into a useable laundry room and entranceway.
