Nov. 3 games Two very well played games Saturday morn- ing saw Frank defeat Larocque 4-3 and Scala Bros. recording their 1st win of the season by defeating the Lions Club 3-1. In the 1st game hard work paid off for the Frank boys as they were on the short side of a 3 to 1 score with only 8 minutes left in the game. Frank seemed to get their act together and scored 3 unanswer- ed goals with the winner coming with only 18 seconds left on the clock. This game was decided in the 3rd as 6 of the 7 goals were scored in the last period. In Saturday's 2nd game, Scala Bros. came PORT PERRY STAR -- Tues. November 6, 1984 -- 23 Port Perry Minor Hockey H.L. results up with their 1st win of the season. It was a well deserved win as the boys put their act together and played good team hockey. Not to take anything away from the Lions Club, but they just met up with a determined Scala team. Congratulations to all four teams on 2 very ' entertaining games. For the Lions it was Craig Leask scoring the lone goal with an assist going to Kevin Busher. Close but not quite On Oct. 31, Emiel's Juveniles played Stouff- ville. Emiel's played a good game but lost 8-7. Paul Bateman played a good game in net and faced a lot of shots. Scoring for Emiels in the first period was Dean Smith assisted by Earl Myers. Stouffville scored twice in the first period. In the second period Emiels scored 3 goals by Ray Meizner, Jamie Lee assisted by Ray and the third by Jeff Cox also assisted by Ray. Stouffville scored 2 goals to end the second period then scored 3 early goals in the third to make the score 7-4. Earl Myers scored with 3:07 left in the game then Stouffville went ahead 8-5. Never quit Emiels still poured it on with 1:31 left. Brian Henricks scored assisted by Jeff Cox and Mike Fluke.
