November 27,1984 -- 1 Heliport lights going up On Monday Nov. 19th the Women's Auxiliary of the Community Mem- orial Hospital, Port Perry held their meet- ing with 22 ladies present. The President opened the meeting with all repeating the Auxiliary prayer in unison. This being our annual meeting, reports were given from all offices. Bonnie Gerrow said in the last year 156 babies were born in our hospital, 80 boys and 76 girls. Thelma Mec- Creight said she needs 6 more adult volunteers and Margaret Mec- Connell now has 16 candy stripers. Mr. Brown was with us, and told us the heliport is almost com- pleted, they were putt- ing in the lights at that time. Barb Boagy gave a good report on our cash register tapes. They have been indeed a worthwhile effort. Our fall dance was a great success and enjoyed by all and some very nice prizes to.
