December 18, 1984 -- 33 The Port Perry Star received a delightful surprise last week, when a big, brown envelope arrived from the North Pole. In the envelope, was a bundle of letters and a note from Santa himself. Santa ex- lained that he had received a lot of letters rom the children of Port Perry and area from the local Post Office and that he thought we might enjoy printing some of them in our ~ Christmas edition. Santa was right! We were thrilled to get copies of the letters and we hope that you will enjoy reading what our local youngsters ex- pressed to the jolly old fella.
