Guests at the Cawker farm, Scugog 'Point Road, this past week were: Ted and Esther Wilson, Kelly and Court- ney of Duntroon, Chris and Curtis Cawker and a friend Pat Buchanan of Oshawa and Ken Bragg of Bowmanville. Sam and Mabel Cawker spent an enjoyable evening with Bob and Madelaine Cawker, Wendy Gerrow and daughtr Jodi, and Ernie Cawker on Friday evening. Nestleton Evening U.C.W. Meet A very interesting meeting was held at the home of Joanne Malcolm on Wednesday evening last with Unit Leader Arlene Malcolm exten: ding a cordial welcome to all. Chris Davis was a guest and warmly welcomed. A devotional by Arlene dealt with Scripture -- different passages -- and an arti- cle about Snow. Student minister Elaine Barber had a slide presentation entitled 'Even Though We're Not Blossoming Now," along with a com- mentary on Korea, -- our Missionary study was meaningful. During a break, members shared some information on Korea. At the conclusion -- a Korean dish, 'Vegetable Croquettes'" was enjoyed by all. The girls have been asked to participate in the Korean Festival to be held at Blackstock a little later. Both the Sun- day School and U.C.W. will be taking part. The background of the Korean flag was most in- teresting -- every part has a special meaning. The Roll Call was answered by con- tributing canned goods for the Arbuckle family. On February 26th, the Evening Unit will assist Rev. Dale Davis with the programme at the Port Perry Nursing Home. Sounds like a great meeting' Caesarea Euchre Results At the weekly card party held in the Caesarea Community Centre, the following are to be congratulated: First prize winner- Roy Werry 96. A good atten- dance for the annual meeting with Rev. Dale Davis -- chairman -- assisted by Betty Headon taking the minutes.
