A trio sang a very nice number with Gwendolyn Malcolm at the organ. Just a word- those who don't attend church real- ly miss a great deal- whatever church it may be- there is always something to take home- a thought from the sermon- the refrain of a hymn- a word of greeting from the minister or members of the congregation- the echo of a Prayer- it is always something which lights the way home and stays with you all week long. Caesarea Community Church The friendly little Caesarea Church didn't have as good a congrega- tion as usual due to the bitter cold. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Heayn were ill- they have been assisting. Daniel Pugh read the Scripture and Rev. W.H. Crawford had a fine message entitled 'Is God J 4 . Bouncing Baby Barr Fund. 200 Kids Friday evening and Saturday. Thanks to a jar placed outside the 'clinic' Stedmans also managed to collect a sizeable contribution to the Save The Children willing To Answer Prayer' from Mark 1: 40. He also played for the hymns. If you can play or know of someone who would help, give the minster a call 986-5526. Caesarea Euchre Results A very successful par- ty with a good atten- dance. Winners were: First prize- Gayle Pelrine with the ex- cellent score of 92. Se- cond prize- James Emer- ton with 85. Third- Charlene Rogers- 40. Lunch and a social time was enjoyed. Next Wednesday evening as usual for a bit of fun and perhaps a prize. Socializing Gloria and Ian Scott, Charles and Jennifer of Corbyville, visited with Ralph and Leona Sadler, Richard and Janice MacKenzie, Claire and Leslie on Sunday- a bir- thday celebration for Ralph. Our best wishes for many more! Grahame and Neta Fish of Nestleton, had supper with Calvin and Yvonne Holland on Saturday evening. They "had a great visit with grandchildren Chad and Craig and the new baby Alanna Dawn is a real doll- doing well. On Sun- day, Jim and Audrey Leishman, Jamie and William of Reaboro, went skiing during the afternoon and were sup- per guests with Grahame and Neta Fish. On Saturday evening, the Sam Cawkers of Scugog Pt. Road, were very pleased to have Wilfred and Jeanette Alexander of Oshawa drop in for a visit- an evening of reminiscing and catching up on the latest family news. What a treat! Lots of excitement at the Cawker farm during the week. The Cawker boys- Grant, Chris, Cur- tis and friend Jamie Kidd were assisting at the estate- snowmobiling for relaxation- all in all a lot of fun for everyone! And afternoon tea guests From everyone at Stedmans, we say a big "Thank You" to each and every youngster who attended our "Cabbage Patch Kids Hospital' last week. Your donations to the "Save The Children Fund' totalled $47.26. We think your thoughtfulness and generosity is just terrific .... thanks kids! on Sunday were Alan and Eleanor Cawker also of Oshawa. Birthday Party A family gathering and birthday celebration was hosted by Arnold and Jean Williams on Sunday with about a dozen pre- sent in all. The celebrants were son Neil and Diane- Dale's girlfriend. Very best wishes to these celebrating! Notices The Nestleton Hall Board will meet Wednes- _day, February 13, for the Election of Officers.
