Wed. night on home ice Sportsland Bantam B's won their first game against Uxbridge by a convincing score of 9-3. Lacking a goalie for the first 8 minutes, Ux- bridge played with six at- tackers, doing an ex- cellent job of defending their net, they also managed to pop one behind Ricky King. With 3:46 remaining in the period Kevin Gibson tied the score after picking up a rebound from Robbie Brown. Six seconds later on a power play Matt Durward tucked one in the corner after taking a pass from behind the net from Kevin Gibson, with Robbie Brown also assisting.
