Then in the afternoon the "Friendship" UCW will meet in the church at 1:30 and will learn the art of candle making. In the evening of the same day the Women's Institute will meet in the Hall when Clara Martyn will show a travelogue of England. For roll call, all ladies will have the name of a town or county in England. It sounds as if the women are busy as usual in March. Of course, others are working on choir concerts and special suppers for April. One supper in par- ticular sounds different as it is being planned by Stewards of the Island United to raise funds for 'a proposed building fund. It will be interesting to have the Island men pro- ve their hidden culinary skills and a chance to do something they always really wanted to do but were afraid to ask. Irene and Marion Carter with another nur- sing associate have returned from a very en- joyable trip to Hawaii for 2 weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Heayn returned from a £ week vacation in Florida.
