A delegation of about a dozen Epsom residents attended Monday's coun- cil meeting and said the community should be allowed to grow by more than the ten lots designated in preliminary plan for the hamlet. While several of those present own land in the community and would like to see lots developed, the future of Epsom School was also cited as a major reason for the need for future homes. One resident said the school is up again for review this fall and there is a lot of concern for its future. The community wants to keep the school viable and prevent its closing. One way to do this is increased local development of houses that would appeal to peo- ple raising young families. Areas suggested for development included land to the north and east of the school, land on the south side of Regional Road, a couple of lots on the west side of Brock St., and several lots on the northwest quadrant.
