David's Hairstyling of the PPMH Novice House League played in the First Annual Bowman- ville Kinsmen House League Novice Tourna- ment last Monday in Bowmanville. Although it wasn't Disney World, each boy was very ex- cited about playing in his very first hockey tournament. David's first game was against a Bowmanville team, Jimmy's Place,' who proved to be a little too strong winning 5-0. In the second game David's came up against their old rival from the local house league, Port Perry Printing, who edged them 2-0 in an exciting well played game. Congratulations to Berry Broomball League championship playoff ¥ series. After taking the open- guys Matthew Mantel of David's who was selected M.V P. in the se- cond game and to Port Perry Printing who went on to win the consolation finals. Even though David's didn't win a game, or even score a goal, the thrill and ex- citement of that first hockey tournament will be long remembered. Congratulations to these David's players on two well-played games: Robbie Martyn, Matt Mantel, Jeff Jamieson, Jeremy Geer, Steve Macdonald, John Jamieson, James Pater- son, Brandon Puckrin, Daryl Moase, Steve Cochrane and Matthew Morris and to their coaches, Dave Jamieson and Peter Morris.
