--Obituary-- Miss Edith Gostick On Friday, March 15, 1985, Miss Edith Gostick, dearly loved youngest daughter of the late Fred and Hattie Gostick, pass- ed away at her home in Cannington. Born and educated in Pickering, Edith worked for several years on the family farm on Conces- sion 7 of Pickering, assisting her brother Russell in the dairy operation. Since she took up residence in Toronto, she has worked in her capacities as a dental assistant, a floral designer and since 1971 as receptionist in the of- fices of the Baptist Con- vention of Ontario and Quebe- _'tuated on St. George St. Formerly a member of Green Riber Baptist Church, Edith at- tended Yorkminster Park Baptist Church in Toronto where she was an active choir member. When illness caused her to give up her work, she went to live with her sister Kathleen in their home in Cannington. Rev. Frank Rice of Lindsay and Dr. John Gladstone of York- minster Park Church, conducted the complete service from the Dixon- Garland Funeral Chapel in Markham, at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 29. They spoke of Edith's many talents used so willingly in. Christian service.
