This year Founder's Day was held at the Ux- bridge Curling Club and Mary Pearsell welcomed everyone. The Founder's Day pledge was read by Ann Powell (Theta Psi) and the message from International was presented by Nora Sym- ington (Theta Delta). Girl of the year awards are a special honour and one of the highlights of the evening. The girls are voted on by the girls in each chapter and are chosen for their outstan- ding contributions and service to their par- ticular chapter. The recipients of the award this year are Joanne Howsam (Theta Delta, Port Perry); Bun- ny Rowland (Preceptor Gamma XI, Port Perry); Anne Phillips (Theta Psi, Uxbridge); and Gail Prentice (Xi Epsilon Upsilon, Ux- bridge). Congratulations to the winners! Entertainment for the evening was arranged by Xi Epsilon Upsilon members, Gail Prentice and Yvonne Stokes, and our guest speaker was Ms. Comrie Cleland who provided us with insight into astrology. There is one more item of unfinished business. If there is anyone who knows the true identity or whereabouts of - the mysterious lady in white who appeared during our banquet, please come forward! 10-19) AV VFo1V; tours SPRING & SUMMER 85 ACTIVITIES A PLENTY IN PITTSBURG 3 DAY..DEPART MAY 13 3295 Per PERSON TWIN ROCHESTER LILAC FESTIVAL 3 DAY..DEPART MAY 17.24 $180" per PERSON TWIN EHIE SHUFFING AND THEATRE 3DAY..DEPART MAY 31 $245" pen PERSON TWIN THE POCONOS & LADY LUCK (ATLANTIC CITY) 4 DAY..DEPART JUNE 17 & JULY 22 $365°% per PERSON TWIN LOUISIANA CAJUN COUNTRY & NEW ORLEANS 12 DAY..DEPART MAY 20 & JUNE 3 930°° per PERSON TWIN WILLIAMSBURG & PHILADELPHIA TREASURE OF AMERICAN HERITAGE 9 DAY..DEPART JUNE 8 $580 per PERSON TWIN PENNSYLVANIA DUTCH | COUNTRY S$ DAY...DEPART JUNE 10 & JULY 8, 22 350° pen pERSCN TWIN BLUEGRASS AND COUNTRY & WESTERN (KENTUCKY & WHEELING) 8 DAY..DEPART JUNE 18 & JULY 21 530% pen PERSON TWIN RICHMOND ROSE FESTIVAL 6 DAY.
