She was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wesley E. Beacock of Nestleton, Ontario. Wife of the late Fred Tarves. She was also predeceas- ed by her eldest brother Adelbert in 1978. : Mrs. Tarves was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church, Oshawa.
