Camping out on the charge card Ontario's provincic parks have become part of the first provincial government to accept credit cards throughout the province. You can now use VISA or MasterCard to pay your camping fees, guarantee your campsite reservation or pay for your annual vehicle per- mit, Natural Resources Minister Michael Harris said recently The use of credit cards in our provincial parks means that campers won't have to carry a lot of cash, and park offices won't need to keep a lot of cash. With the new system, when a customer books ahead using a VISA or MasterCard number, park staff will be able to provide a guaranteed reservation. With a guaranteed campsite already book- ed. campers will get a head start on the peace of mind they are often looking for when they visit a provincial park Campers who prefer not to use a credit card may still have their reservation guaranteed by mail, if it is accom- panied by a deposit.
