Festival Days is just around the corner, and there 1s going to be a contest for "Best Decorated Bicycle or Tricycles. The contest will be held on Friday, July 12 at noon. Participants will gather at Palmer Park near the Palmer statue at the east end of Queen Street, and will then parade up the | street to be judged at the stage near the Post Office. Kids will be divided into two categories for the contest: 1. up to and including 7 year olds; 2. from 8-12 years of age. There will be prizes for the Best Decorated Bicycle and the Most Original Bicycle in both categories. All participants will be given something for their efforts. So you'd better start planning now.
