All brides- maids carried lace fans with pink roses with lily of the valley and touches of mauve and white babies breath. Mr. Roy Teer was best man and the ushers were Kent Wagg (brother of the groom) and Gerald and James Lane (brothers of the bride). All wore the silver grey suits while the groom chose a white jacket over dark pants. Following the ceremony the young cou- ple toured the town in a limousine on their way to the reception at the Legion Hall. The bride's mother received in a for- mal gown of georgette in soft lilac featuring a cowl neckline and the groom's mother wore a dusty rose dress with touches of beads down the bodice.
