Euchres will be held every Thurs- day with doors open at 7:30. Everyone welcome. A Farewell Party was held for Michael Nixon on Friday night at the Prince Albert Hall. Over rty friends and bours came to greet-Mim well. Michael will be in the Canadian Armed Forces stationed in Pelawawa, Ontario. They held a '"Rock-A-Thon" and craft sale this summer and turned over $442 in net proceeds to the Handi Transit fund for pur- chase of a new van. Accepting the donation last week on behalf of Handi Transit is Elizabeth Fulford. With her is Stan Ewen, presi- dent of the Villa council, and Phyllis Lambert of the Nursing Home council.
